According to reports from the market, the government has relaxed the quality standards for wheat procurement in Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan. They have stated that the threshold for shriveled and broken grains has been raised from 6% to 15% in Madhya Pradesh and to 20% in Rajasthan. Additionally, the tolerance level for luster loss, without any reduction in value, has been elevated to 50% in Madhya Pradesh and 70% in Rajasthan. These adjustments aim to facilitate smoother procurement processes.
