US Wheat crop progress report by USDA show improvement as compared last year

Based on the USDA Crop Progress report, roughly 77% of the US winter wheat crop has progressed to the heading stage, marking a notable increase from 69% the previous year. Moreover, approximately 48% of the crop is rated in good to excellent condition, showcasing a significant improvement from the 34% reported during the same period last year. For US spring wheat, 88% has been planted, and 61% has emerged, notably higher than 50% during the same period last year. Overall, the crop outlook in the US appears promising, suggesting that the supply side may be robust this year.
