During the recent e-auction held on February 21, 2024, FCI sold a total of approximately 4.66 LMT of Wheat under OMSS out of the 5 LMT offered. With this recent sale, total wheat sales have now reached 89.4 LMT since June 26th, 2023. It's anticipated that sales may conclude earlier than the usual date of March 15th, possibly by the end of February. With government intervention, inflation has decreased to 2.33% in January, down from 4.69% in December. However, the current offtake stands at 93%, slightly lower than the previous week's 96%.
