The European Commission Predicts Decline in Soft Wheat Production for 2024/25 Season, Exports Expected to Remain Stable

According to the European Commission's supply and demand projections for the upcoming season, it is anticipated that the production of common wheat, commonly referred to as soft wheat, within the European Union, will decrease to 120.8 million metric tons in 2024/25, down from the 125.6 million metric tons recorded in the current season. Additionally, the Commission forecasts that EU soft wheat exports will remain stable, reaching 31 million tons, a figure unchanged from the volume expected in 2023/24.
