The sale of Wheat and Rice under OMSS from the buffer stock for the fiscal year 2024-25 will commence from April 1, 2024, until July 31, 2024. The nationwide reserve price for wheat for sale under OMSS (D) has been set at Rs. 2300 per quintal for FAQ wheat and Rs. 2275 per quintal for URS wheat until July 31, 2024, or until further notice, whichever comes first. No sales will be conducted during the procurement period in the procuring regions. The quantity of stocks to be offloaded and the timing, taking into account the stocks held at the relevant point of time, will be determined by DFPD.
