Lower cardamom supply supported the domestic prices. Cardamom planters are holding their produce as prices continuously come down. 

At Kochi market , Small Cardamom Loose(Max. Price) is trading strong at Rs. 2,015 per kg, higher by 9.87 per cent from previous trading day. Estimated market supply was at 58,703 kgs, lower by 7,339 kgs as compared to previous day. Small Cardamom Loose(Avg. Price) is offered strong at Rs. 1,470 per kg, up by 1.17 per cent from previous price level.

We expect Cardamom prices likely to support at lower level as global production is likely to be lower this year.
