Increased supply has capped Small Cardamom prices today. At the Kochi market, Small Cardamom Loose (Max. Price) is trading lower at Rs. 2853 per kg, down by 0.63 percent from the previous day's price. The Small Cardamom Loose (Avg. Price) is weaker at Rs. 1984 per kg, a decrease of 1.2 percent from the previous trading day. Arrivals were reported at 52,909 kgs, an increase of 4,265 kgs compared to the previous day.
We expect prices may not correct much as cardamom plants were affected earlier due to lower rainfall.
