According to DGCIS, India exported 32,848 MT of maize in February 2024, marking a 90% decrease compared to February 2023. The main destinations for export were Nepal, Bangladesh, and Bhutan, which are the neighboring countries. Conversely, India imported 72,000 MT of maize during February 2024, which is a 390% against 9,800 MT during April 2023 to January 2024 period. Most of the corn was imported from Ukraine.
