Based on the March SOPA reports, soybean crushing for the 2023-24 oil year has been adjusted to 120 lakh tons, a 4.34% increase from the previous year's 115 lakh tons. March's soybean crushing reached 10.50 lakh tons, slightly higher than February's 10 lakh tons. The decrease in soy oil supplies in the local market is believed to have driven up domestic crushing. Overall, soybean crushing for the 2023-24 oil year has risen to 67.50 LT from 65.50 LT in the 2022-23 oil year.
