According to The Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) climate centre’s recent forecast, India is expected to witness above-average rainfall this year, especially from July to September. As per the agency’s recent report, a shift from El Niño (warming Pacific waters) to La Niña (cooling Pacific waters) can be expected by April.
