The Vietnam Pepper and Spice Association (VPSA) reported that in the first 15 days of July 2024, Vietnam exported 9,993 tons of pepper, with a total export turnover of 56.5 million USD.

The main export enterprises included Olam Vietnam (1,272 tons), Phuc Sinh (1,224 tons), Simexco Dak Lak (839 tons), Nedspice Vietnam (796 tons), and Pearl (649 tons).

On the import side, Vietnam imported 746 tons of pepper, totaling 4.5 million USD in import turnover.

The primary importers were Olam (232 tons, 31.1%) and KSS Vietnam (75 tons, 10.1%). Indonesia and Cambodia were the main sources of pepper imports, contributing 438 tons (58.7%) and 229 tons (30.7%) respectively.
