The Ukrainian grain traders’ union reported that Ukraine's collective exports of grain and oilseeds surged to 3.1 million metric tons (Mt) in the initial half of February, marking an increase from 2.2Mt recorded during the corresponding period in January. This total comprised 1.5Mt of corn, nearly 1.1Mt of wheat, 130 thousand metric tons (kt) of barley, 191kt of rapeseed, and a minor quantity of sunflower seeds.
