Taiwan’s MFIG purchasing group has announced an international tender to purchase up to 65,000 metric tons of animal feed corn, which can be sourced from the United States, Brazil, Argentina, or South Africa. Price offers must be submitted by Wednesday, July 17. The tender requests offer for one consignment of yellow corn, ranging from 40,000 to 65,000 tons, at a premium over the Chicago December 2024 corn contract. If the corn is sourced from the US Gulf, Brazil, or Argentina, shipment is required between September 8 and September 27. If sourced from the US Pacific Northwest or South Africa, shipment is required between September 23 and October 12.
