India's rice exports in the first quarter of 2024 totaled around 4.3 million metric tons, reflecting a 28% decrease compared to the same period last year. Despite this decline, India maintains its position as the world's top rice exporter. Following India, Thailand exported 2.46 million metric tons, Vietnam exported 2.18 million metric tons, and Pakistan exported 1.98 million metric tons of rice during the same period.
