Russia has strict controls in place to prevent such occurrences. Pakistan's rice is currently in high demand in the international market due to India's ban on the export of non-basmati white rice. Sending a contaminated consignment to a prominent country like Russia could have serious repercussions for Pakistan's efforts to become a major rice exporter.
