Groundnut sowing progress in Rajasthan

As of July 12th, 2024, groundnut sowing in Rajasthan has covered an area of 6.71 lakh hectares. This represents a 10% decrease compared to the same date in 2023, when the sown area was 7.42 lakh hectares. Additionally, the current sown area falls short of the five-year average, which stands at 7.73 lakh hectares.  

Soybean sowing progress in Rajasthan

 As of July 12th, 2024, soybean sowing in Rajasthan has reached 10.24 lakh hectares. This is a decrease of 4.12% compared to the same date in 2023, when the sown area was 10.68 lakh hectares. The current sown area is also below the five-year average, which stands at 11.03 lakh hectares.  

Sesamum sowing progress in Rajasthan

 As of July 12th, 2024, sesamum sowing in Rajasthan has covered 0.93 lakh hectares. This marks a significant decrease of 48% compared to the same date in 2023, when the sown area was 1.79 lakh hectares. Additionally, the current sown area is substantially below the five-year average of 2.67 lakh hectares.
