Groundnut sowing progress in Rajasthan

As of July 7, 2024, groundnut sowing in Rajasthan has covered an area of 6 lakh hectares. This represents an 18% decrease compared to the same date in 2023, when the sown area was 7.28 lakh hectares. Additionally, the current sown area falls short of the five-year average, which stands at 7.73 lakh hectares.  

Soybean sowing progress in Rajasthan

 As of July 7, 2024, soybean sowing in Rajasthan has reached 9.65 lakh hectares. This is a slight decrease of 0.21% compared to the same date in 2023, when the sown area was 9.67 lakh hectares. The current sown area is also below the five-year average, which stands at 11.03 lakh hectares.  

Sesamum sowing progress in Rajasthan

 As of July 7, 2024, sesamum sowing in Rajasthan has covered 0.74 lakh hectares. This marks a significant decrease of 44.36% compared to the same date in 2023, when the sown area was 1.33 lakh hectares. Additionally, the current sown area is substantially below the five-year average of 2.67 lakh hectares.
