India’s National Cooperative Export Ltd (NCEL) has finalized a deal to export 1,600 MT of white rice to Singapore. This agreement follows extensive negotiations with Singapore’s aggregator, showing a significant advancement in bilateral trade ties. Despite not experiencing a rice shortage, Singapore has proactively engaged with India to enhance food security, culminating in this export arrangement.
