The arrival of the new summer crop continued to exert pressure on market sentiments, leading to a decline in physical market prices for Moong by an average of 2-8% during the reviewed week. It is anticipated that arrivals will further increase in May, particularly with reports of favorable crop conditions, especially in Madhya Pradesh and Bihar as of now.

Moong is expected to trade down by INR 200-300 per quintal as new crop arrivals are set to increase in coming days.
