In March 2024, black pepper exports were recorded at 406.64 metric tons (MT), reflecting a 4.48% decrease from the previous month and aligning closely with the three-year average of 488.38 MT. On the other hand, black pepper imports for the same period amounted to 1500.80 MT, showing a 25.80% decline from the prior month and a notable 17.45% reduction compared to the same period the previous year.
