Malaysia has decided to maintain the palm oil export tax at 8% for February, consistent with the rate in January. However, there is a revision in the reference price, which is now set at MYR 3571.39 per metric ton, a decrease from MYR 3679.50 in January. As a result, the net payable export tax for Crude Palm Oil (CPO) in February will be MYR 285.7112 or $60.37 per metric ton, as opposed to MYR 294.34 or $63.32 in January.
