According to the IMD, strong westerly to southwesterly winds at lower altitudes are expected over Kerala and the Lakshadweep region starting from 21st June 2024. This weather pattern is likely to lead to widespread rainfall, including heavy to very heavy rainfall, and possibly extremely heavy rainfall at isolated locations in Kerala on 23rd June 2024.
