Guar Split Exports Drop 21% in April 2024 Despite Year-Over-Year Growth

According to the latest data, Guar split exports decreased significantly by 21% in April 2024, dropping to 4,180 tonnes at an average FOB of US $360 per tonne, down from 5,322 tonnes in the previous month at an average FOB of US $401 per tonne. However, compared to the same period last year, exports increased by 19%. The main importing countries in April were China, the USA, Switzerland, and Mexico, with China accounting for the largest share, importing approximately 3,000 tonnes, or 70% of the total.
