According to USDA reports, rapeseed oil production remains relatively stable from 2023/24, with Canada's increased production balancing out the anticipated decrease from Ukraine. However, global supplies of rapeseed oil are predicted to become tighter due to reduced stockpiles, driven by rising demand in both industrial and food sectors. Trade in rapeseed oil is set to decline as decreased imports by China outweigh the increased imports by the U.S. The global industrial usage of rapeseed oil is projected to rise by 2 percent, while its use in food is expected to increase by 3 percent.
