As of 28th June 2024, soybean acreage has seen a substantial increase across various Indian states, primarily due to favorable monsoon conditions facilitating early sowing. The total soybean area sown stands at 33.66 lakh hectares, up from 1.62 lakh hectares in 2023, marking a significant rise of 32.04 lakh hectares or 1978%.
