During the month under review, the average crush margin of guar seed recorded a decline, dropping to 141 in June 2024 from 211 in May 2024. This decrease in guar crushing can be attributed to the month-on-month reduction in the oil rig count, reflecting export concerns in the market and leading to a slowdown in crushing activities.

Although export demand in the current season is higher than the previous one, with guar gum and split exports showing improvements of 10% and 28%, respectively, compared to the same period last year, monthly guar gum exports recorded a decline of 5%, confirming demand concerns in the current period.

Additionally, total arrivals from October to June have declined by 3% compared to the corresponding period last year, amid bearish market sentiments.
