Data released on Thursday revealed that China experienced an 18% increase in soybean imports in April compared to the previous year. Buyers seized the opportunity to purchase abundant and cost-effective Brazilian beans as the South American producer concluded its harvest season. According to the General Administration of Customs, total arrivals for the month reached 8.57 million metric tons, setting a new record high for April.
