As per trade sources, a total of 87,950 MT Pulses were imported at Chennai port during the period of 1st to 30th April, 2024. The total quantity imported during the period included 29,875 MT Tur, 50,050 MT Urad, 2325 MT Lentil, 1250 Black Eye Beans, 400 MT Chickpeas, 125 MT LLB, 100 MT BEB, 525 MT Kidney Bean, 3000 MT Yellow Peas, 75 MT Lima Beans and 175 MT Cowpea.
