According to the latest data from the Bureau of Plant Industry (BPI), the Philippines has imported over 2.08 million metric tons (MMT) of rice till 30 May, Vietnam is the leading supplier, contributing 1.52 million MT. Thailand follows with 319,740 million MT, and Pakistan with 147,169 million MT.
