According to the latest update, the DFPD and Ministry of Consumer Affairs have instructed Traders/Wholesalers, Retailers, Big Chain Retailers, and Processors across all states and Union Territories to report their Wheat stock on the portal starting from April 1, 2024, and subsequently every Friday until further notice. This directive could potentially influence market prices, as any anticipated shortages in the upcoming months might prompt the Government to enforce stock limits to stabilize domestic prices.
